| Before
1993, the Scottish Games community was scoring its Heavy Events
comps by hand - using nothing more than pencil and paper.
There are eight events in a
Games and, at that time, six classes competing. Often it was
an hour or more after the competition was over before the athletes
knew who had won.
Today, the their scorekeeper enters results for
a completed event in less than 5 minutes - including the printing
of an interim results sheet.
Athletes now are able to see the impact of their
performance in the just finished event on their overall placing.
In addition, the announcer can provide real-time
comments about close competitions as they evolve. The following
are links to each of the various features of this program.
