eFLEET tracks repairs, services, safety
inspections and fuel usage for each unit in your fleet. This is
the step where you define your fleet.
Each Fleet Unit (tractor, truck, trailer, backhoe, grader, etc)
needs to be entered before tracking and reporting can be done. |
| Accessing the Fleet Unit Table |
 |
Open the Fleet Unit Table by clicking
on the truck icon on the main toolbar.
Once this button is clicked, either the Owner-Operator Unit History
or the Fleet Unit History window will open (as seen below). |
| The Fleet Unit Table |
 |
This is the Fleet Unit Table. The micro
eFLEET version looks a bit different but functions in much the
same way.
The units in your fleet are shown in the list on the left side
of this window. The white boxes on the right show information about
the highlighted fleet unit.
In this example, there is only one unit in the fleet. |
| To Add a New Unit click the "+"
icon in the Fleet Unit History toolbar. The window below will
be displayed. |
 |
| To Change an Existing Unit click
the delta icon in the Fleet Unit History toolbar. The window
below will be displayed. |
 |
| To Delete an Existing Unit click
the "-"icon in the Fleet Unit History toolbar. You
will be asked if you are sure you want to delete the unit. |
 |
|
| Adding/Changing A Unit's Information |
 |
This is the Fleet Unit Update Form. It is used to
enter new fleet units or to make changes to the information of an
existing fleet unit.
Fill in the requested information and then click the Save button.
Notice that (in this example of adding a new unit), the default
values for service intervals have already (automatically) been entered.
You can change these values (for this unit) if you want. |
